PRESS RELEASE
Safe Events Global, a leading Health & Safety services provider to the events and entertainment industries, has invested in Halo Solutions’ intelligent incident, safety and operations management platform. The investment sees Safe Events Global become one of Halo’s largest individual investors and comes on the back of the company’s 7 years’ experience deploying the Halo system on client events everywhere from Ireland to the Middle East.
The investment was made as part of a recent fundraising initiative undertaken by Halo to facilitate ongoing development of the multi-award-winning platform as well as expansion in a variety of markets. Described as rolling 10 systems into 1, the Halo Solutions platform is utilised in Control Rooms across a wide range of industries, including events, and incorporates an incident management system, drone feeds, ticket scanning, CCTV and more.
Speaking about the investment, Mark Breen, Director at Safe Events Global, commented:
‘We’ve been proud partners and unofficial ambassadors for the platform for years now, so investing was an easy decision for us. We began on Version 1.0 of the system and it has come a long, long way since then. We build our business on the dual pillars of people + process and Halo is a key component of the process piece for us. We’ve never found an alternative that comes close to rivalling Halo, and we’ve looked at them all. We count Lloyd and the team at Halo as friends and we look forward to continuing to help them grow.’
Having been introduced to Halo at a conference in the UK back in 2017, the team at Safe Events Global saw the potential in the platform there and then and began working with Halo almost immediately. Deploying the system on almost all events on which they work, from Dublin Pride to the Soundstorm festival in Saudi Arabia, from Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo to Formula 1 After Race Concerts in the Middle East, Safe Events Global has been involved in shaping developments within the platform over many years.
This investment is the latest in a series of developments within Safe Events Global during a sustained period of growth, including:
- Investment of approximately €300,000 in a new office space and equipment
- Establishment of Safe Events Global Arabia to better service its growing client base in the Middle East
- Increase to a headcount of 20 full-time personnel based in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East
- Selection as an Enterprise Ireland client
- Expansion of its Digital Operations department, increasing its ability to develop and deploy bespoke systems for clients
Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and with a regional office in Riyadh, KSA, Safe Events Global works with a wide range of public and private clients, ensuring safety is a key consideration at all stages of event planning and delivery. Founded in 2012 as a partnership between Martin Cullen and Mark Breen known as Cuckoo Events, it transitioned to Safe Events and, more recently, Safe Events Global as the business evolved.
