We’re excited to welcome Caoimhe as our new Project Assistant!

She brings a passion for events, a wealth of experience across the arts and charity sectors, and a curiosity that makes her a perfect fit for our team.

Caoimhe studied Social Science and Cultural Innovation at DCU, where she developed an interest in how cultural and arts events impact communities and society.

Since then, she’s gained hands-on experience in theatre, political campaigns, and charity events, all while exploring different cultures.

She has lived and studied in Prague, and worked in Austria as well as France.

Our new project assistant Caoimhe

Drawn to events from a young age (her first role was scanning tickets at Croke Park when she was just 15), Caoimhe had been following Safe Events Global on our socials for some time, she tells us that she admired our balance of professionalism and creativity.

When we asked her what made her apply for this role, Caoimhe said that she was eager to join a team where she could learn from industry professionals and deepen her knowledge, particularly around safety, which she sees as a crucial part of any successful event.

Speaking about our new Project Assistant appointment, our Strategic Director, Mark, noted:

“As we continue to grow, we are trying to bring in people we feel will fit well into roles we think we need to support that growth. As our first full-time Project Assistant, Caoimhe will be helping plan and deliver a range of events, working closely with the team in here. It’s important to us that people fit in well here and we really think Caoimhe will do just that.”

Safe to say she’s already settling in brilliantly:

“My first day was genuinely so fun. The team made me feel so welcome, and it was all one big laugh. I can tell that not only do they value each others’ work ethics and experience, but also each others’ friendships. I can already tell I’ll get on well with them all.”

We can’t wait to see her grow, learn, and make her mark across our projects.

Welcome to the team, Caoimhe!
