If you’re the one making the call when something goes wrong at a live event, this course is for you.
We’re hosting a brand-new Showstop® Procedure course in Dublin.
It’s a one-day, in-person programme designed for people who make tactical safety decisions at live events — from festivals and concerts to major sporting fixtures.

This isn’t your average safety course.
This course isn’t about ticking boxes.
It’s hands-on, focused, and built around real-world situations.
Experts Steve Allen, Dr. Mark Hamilton, and Prof. Chris Kemp created the course based on decades of experience in event safety.
It’s also IIRSM-approved and CPD-accredited, giving it real weight in the industry.
At Safe Events Global, we’re funding the Showstop® Procedure course to support the professionals we work with regularly across Ireland.
That said, we often welcome applicants from outside Ireland — and many have secured spots on previous programmes.
So what’s in it for you?
You’ll leave the day with a stronger grasp of how to handle a potential Showstop.
You’ll gain tools to lead under pressure, coordinate with multi-agency teams, and respond to fast-moving situations.
The goal? Keep crowds safe without hesitation.
Everyone who attends gets an attendance certificate.
If you satisfy the criteria, you can also sit an exam on the day to earn a Professional Certificate in Showstop® Procedure.
To qualify, you’ll need at least three years of event experience in a senior safety, security, production, or control role.

Places are limited, and we want to ensure a good spread across sectors.
To hold your spot, you can register your interest here, you’ll then need to pay a €250 deposit — which we’ll refund once you attend.
[UPDATE – this course is now fully subscribed.]
This course takes place at our HQ in Dublin.
If safety matters to you, and you want to lead with confidence, we’d love to see you there.
